RESOURCES FOR EDUCATORS
The Animal Agriculture Alliance (Alliance) continues its Adopt-A-Teacher program first launched in 1997. Through the Adopt-A-Teacher program, an individual or company can provide the teacher of his/her choice with a Teacher Resource Kit, a complete resource kit full of educational materials about animal agriculture. The kit enables teachers to answer many of the questions both they and their students have about animal agriculture and the animal rights vs. animal welfare issue. Now more than ever, we need to ensure there is a balanced opinion of animal agriculture. Education is key and the best place to start is in the schools. The Teacher Resource Kit includes a copy of the Alliance's Teacher Resource Guide to Farm Animal Care & Use Issues, and other excellent educational resources.
